His birthday is both exciting and scary at the same time…
Another year of growth and exciting adventures. Moments shared and memories created. New discoveries and old reminders. Frustrations that bring back fond feelings.
It’s breathless.
It’s beautiful.
It’s timeless.
Yet, this milestone also indicates one less year I have with him. Mortality is a morbid topic if you focus on it too long. Time ticks by and realisation sinks in that some fights are not worth winning, whilst others are worth bleeding for.
It’s heartfelt.
It’s humbling.
It’s God given.
